What is WFI all about?

Join the team

We need as many worshipers as possible to intercede for us with their prayers and with their resources, whether it’s finances, in-kind gifts, or time. There are a few ways to get involved. Choose one or mix and match to come up with the combination that suits your life.

Build

  • Give a financial gift online and designate it as the Lord leads. (Designating it to Global Impact goes to general program expenses. Designating it to Josie Leung goes to my support account. But there are other options, so pray about it!)

OR

  • Mail a financial gift (payable to “Worship Foundations International”, memo: “Team Nehemiah” to direct to my account) to

By the way, all gifts made to Worship Foundations International are tax-deductible. WFI is a registered 501(c)3 organization. If you mail a check, please do not put my name on it anywhere if you want it to qualify as a tax-deduction. It’s an IRS thing.

We aren’t set up yet to make automatic deductions for regular commitments. We’re working on it. The best we can offer right now is to point you to your online banking website to set up an automatic bill pay schedule. Sorry about that, and we definitely appreciate your faithfulness!

Defend

  • Register for updates on this site so you can pray along with us. Selecting the subscription button at the bottom of the form automatically registers you for all updates (weekly prayer requests and monthly ministry updates). To change that, just log in, click on “users” in the left menubar and “subscriptions” in the submenu. Adjust the settings to your heart’s content.
  • If you’re on Facebook and prefer to not remember another username and password, you can get all of the updates (the same ones that are posted here) by joining the facebook group, more and more.

Worshiping God is such a dynamic activity! As seasons of life change, so can your involvement. Just let us know how you want to adjust your commitment or if you want to step down altogether. We want to bless you and encourage you to follow God in the unique ways He leads you.

Team Nehemiah

Team NehemiahWorship Foundations International is inspired by Ezra 3.10-11. When the foundation of the temple had been laid, all the people couldn’t help but stop to praise God with everything they had.

Nehemiah was a contemporary of Ezra. He had the privilege of building the wall that surrounded Jerusalem and the temple of the Lord. Nehemiah and his team weren’t priests or ordained ministers; they were faithful worshipers of the Lord Almighty. They fearlessly honored Him by both building the work and defending it (Nehemiah 4.13-14).

Thank you for being a part of my Team Nehemiah. Because you fearlessly build this work by giving and defend it with your prayer, I am freed spiritually and materially to pour more of my life into mobilizing more and more musicians to become more and more like Jesus.

Where we stand today: 60 people! Only 940 more to go...

Team Nehemiah trusts in the God of Isaiah 60.22 to multiply each person by 1000. Whether measured by senders, goers, or new disciples, our currency is lives, not dollars. Our first goal toward that is to multiply the efforts of my role by 1000 people who are

  1. building Global Impact with their gifts and
  2. defending Global Impact with their prayers.

We don’t just want to gather a crowd; we want to build His army. Besides giving and praying, please encourage like-minded others to join! Even a gift of $5/month or $60/year is helpful, but far more precious than that are your prayers. If your church, fellowship, or small group would like to band together to lend support, let me know. We’ll work together to get you some basic information or set up an appointment for me to come and share the vision. Regardless of our economy, the Kingdom of God is immune to recession when we combine forces for His purposes.
